The Generator option for SxTAG (PHSxT-GEN) adds a professional multi format generator to the TAG to provide video test signals for analogue composite video, SD-SDI and HD-SDI video formats as standard. The Generator option also allows the generation of both analogue and digital audio test tones and allows the unit to be locked to an external locking reference. The video/audio signal generator can be set to any one of 32 line-based, pathological or zone plate test signals as well as user define test signals. Test patterns are provided for analogue PAL M, PAL N and NTSC. 10-bit (12-bit) digital test patterns are provided for SD-SDI, HD-SDI and 3G-SDI (option) as well as optical digital test patterns via SFP module (option).
