Listen Technologies Introduces The Next Generation of Wireless Conferencing

Listen Technologies continues its expansion of conferencing capabilities in North America with the next generation firmware release features for Voice Activation (VOX) and Advanced Transmission Mode (ATM).

In response to its customers needs Listen Technologies is pleased to announce the availability of the next generation of wireless conferencing for use in North America. This firmware upgrade includes Voice Activation (VOX) as a new feature and new algorithms for RF signal handling capabilities with the Advanced Transmission Mode (ATM).

“We’re fortunate to have a visionary partner in Televic Conference,” noted Tim Schaeffer, VP of Strategic Development, Listen Technologies. “Televic wireless systems have been deployed in nearly 60 countries giving Televic a real-world view of the needs of the user as well as the realities of the dynamic RF environment that is wireless today. The Televic team continues to prove its leadership in the wireless conferencing market.”

Voice Activation (VOX) allows users to keep their hands free while talking which enables seamless discussion between meeting participants. “VOX is a feature that our customers are asking for and we’re excited to be able to fill this need,” said Brooks Gibbs, Conferencing Specialist, Listen Technologies.

Between the ever growing number of wireless networks and the increased number of Wi-Fi enabled devices such a Smartphones, tablets and laptops the RF landscape has changed significantly over the past few years. Advanced Transmission Mode (ATM) allows for continuous transmissions in high traffic areas. “With Advanced Transmission Mode (ATM), our customers will be able to consistently deliver quality audio even in the most congested RF environments,” said Gibbs.
