It features an aluminum chassis for strength and durability but weighs only 1/2 pound. A built-in dimmer controls light output from 0 to 100% without flicker at any frame rate. A separate knob controls the color temperature balance of the LEDs. The light runs on AC via an adapter or on NPF-type camera batteries that mount to its built-in battery plate. The LED500 Plus outputs the hot light equivalent of 500W but you won't have to be concerned about the talent's comfort - the panel runs barely warm to the touch.
