The FTX-L 3G fibre optic transmitter has been designed to transmit 3Gb/s, HD or SD signals over large distances in robust, reliable and space-saving way. This dual channel module brings financial and rack space savings with up to 24 channels possible in a 2U frame, and includes two input loop-throughs ideal for system checking or distributing input video.

Two independent 3Gb/s, HD or SD inputs, each with one optical output
Meets SMPTE 297-2006 short-haul specification, allowing operation with single-mode and multi-mode fibre
Passes all 3Gb/s, HD and SD signals transparently, including pathological signals
Use the two input loop-throughs to distribute the input video to equipment such as a picture monitor, or to check which equipment or cable is broken without breaking any of the connections
CWDM lasers available on request in 18 different wavelengths, allowing you to get multiple signals through one fibre and saving you money and rack space
Space-saving, 100mm x 266mm module allows 12 FTX-L 3G in 2U (24 in 4U, six in 1U and two in desk top box)
Flexible status monitoring: frame active front panel, Ethernet control panel, SNMP or PC software
