Crestron infiNET EX^™ Wireless Mesh Network Technology Delivers Maximum Power and Flexibility; Modern Cameo^® Design Provides Elegance and Convenience

ROCKLEIGH, NJ, June 2, 2010 – Crestron released its new Cameo^® lighting and control solutions, featuring exclusive InfiNET EX^™ wireless mesh network technology. Advanced infiNET EX technology builds on the foundation of its predecessor, infiNET, by supporting up to 100 devices connected to a single gateway. Each unit functions as a wireless expander, increasing effective range and reinforcing the complete network by providing multiple redundant signal paths. The latest Cameo wireless switches and dimmers are very affordable and elegantly designed to complement any décor. Variable-intensity white LED indicators provide instant lighting feedback, with illumination levels that automatically adjust for optimum visibility in all lighting conditions. A wide selection of popular colors, field replaceable bezels and rockers, and custom engraved buttons delivers maximum convenience and flexibility.

Cameo dimmers and switches are connected to the Crestron network, so they can also function as keypads, sending commands to trigger whole-room or house lighting scenes or audio presets. Remote “slave” units enable control of lights or other dimmable or switchable loads from multiple locations, no extra programming required. In addition, new wireless lamp dimmers and switches are now available, enabling the connection of floor and table lamps to the system and contributing to the redundancy that strengthens the network.

Offering the most affordable options in the product line, Cameo Express wireless dimmers, switches and combination units are available in gloss white, black and almond.
