Two new amplifiers from Atlas Sound set for InfoComm debut
LAS VEGAS, NV, June 18, 2008 - Equipped with versatile features and offering plenty of power, reliability, and affordable price tags, the new Strategy Series AA60 mixer amplifier and CP400 professional power amplifiers from Atlas Sound will make their debut at this year's InfoComm in booth #C4049.
Outfitted with a single microphone input and a pair of summing stereo line inputs, the AA60 amplifier from Atlas Sound is built using the same proven technology found in the venerable Strategy Series model AA35 amplifier, only with more power: 60 watts RMS to be exact, at 25V, 70V, 100V and four ohms. With phantom power available at its mic input, the AA60 is ideally suited for paging and background music systems, sound masking, and in applications where music-on-hold (MOH) as well as paging is required. UL listed, RoHS compliant, and equipped with dual-line output, the amplifier has a frequency response of 50 Hz - 20 kHz, pre-out/power-in patching capabilities, and both remote and VOX-activated muting. Any source or a full mix bus can be routed to a Zone 2 output to accommodate MOH.
A truly adaptable professional stereo power amplifier built around a pair of high quality toroidal transformers providing superior isolation in both stereo and bridged mono operation, the new Atlas Sound Strategy Series CP400 offers a variety of power options ranging from 175 watts at 25V (in stereo) to 600 watts at four ohms in bridged mono. Conforming to UL 813 standards, the unit additionally features 30-position stepped input gain control on its back panel, both terminal block and XLR inputs, and an automatic, dual-speed, high efficiency cooling fan. Based on the architecture of the robust CP700 amplifier from Atlas Sound, the CP400 is expressly built to meet the needs of today's system contractor, with its competitive price tag, makes the benefits of true transformer output isolation obtainable within system budgets where it previously wasn't affordable.
