ALTINEX INTRODUCES DA103-302 DITTO-AMP™ HDMI 1X2 DISTRIBUTION AMPLIFIER

Brea, CA – April 2010… Altinex, a leading manufacturer of Modular AV Solutions™, is pleased to announce the DA103-302 Ditto-Amp HDMI distribution amplifier, the company’s latest addition to its popular line of Dedicated AV Solutions. This new HDMI 1x2 distribution amplifier, frequently called a “splitter”, supports HDMI Version 1.3b with embedded High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection (HDCP) V1.0 and V1.1.

Featuring an integrated 20-inch, 19-Pin male HDMI cable for direct connection to source devices such as a BluRay disc player, the Ditto-Amp enables one device to present simultaneous feeds to two separate HDMI displays with computer resolutions up to 1920 X 1080 and HDTV formats ranging from 480p to 1080p at distances up to 60 feet on each output. The new Ditto-Amp supports standards such as HDMI V1.3b with deep color and new lossless digital audio formats Dolby® TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio™ in addition to LPCM (Linear Pulse Code Modulation), Dolby AC3, DTS 7.1, and DSD (Direct Stream Digital).

As the Ditto-Amp receives its power from the HDMI port of the source device, there is no need for cumbersome “wall wart” style power supplies—enabling this HDMI splitter to be placed anywhere one needs to mirror an output from an HDMI unit. Measuring a compact 2.5- x 2.1- x 0.7-inches (63 x 54 x 18mm), the new Ditto-Amp is extremely powerful for its size.
